Hello dear friends!
We're in the final planning stages before the big day next Saturday and we can't wait to celebrate our festivities with you.
First a bit of news: as many of you may already know, Kai decided to cut short his project in Detroit and came back to Munich earlier than expected. However, his means didn't necessarily justify the ends - he tore his calf muscle playing tennis. He was on his way to a possible crutch-free wedding; but alas, because of a wet garage floor (and No, not because of attending Oktoberfest : ), he unfortunately caused some more damage and so the crutches are guaranteed to be part of the wedding...and the honeymoon is postponed until December
...but the wedding and the PARTY will go on!! Below is the schedule of events:
Friday October 19
Casual Get-together Happy Hour for friends and family to get acquainted (and anyone else who wants to join in the fun!) / Casual Happy Hour Veranstaltung für Freunde und Verwandschaft

Saturday October 20
1:00pm/13:00 Uhr Bus leaves from Laimer Hof Hotel to the church for those without a car / Bus fährt die, die kein Auto haben, vom Hotel Laimer Hof zur Kirche (approx. 20 minute ride/Dauer ungefähr 20 min) (see blow link for address / Siehe rechts den link zum Hotel, address; Laimer Strasse 40)
2:00pm/14:00 Uhr Catholic Mass celebrating Marriage, Kirchliche Trauung
3:15pm/15:15 Uhr (approx./ungefähr) Champagne toast after ceremony, Sekt Anstoß auf das Paar. Time to stroll around grounds of the Schleißheim Palace, Zeit um durch den Garten zu laufen und das Schloß zu betrachten.
4:00pm/16:00 Uhr Bus leaves from church for return to Laimer Hof, Bus fährt zurück zum Hotel Laimer Hof
until 6:00pm/bis 18:00 Uhr At your leisure, Freizeit
from 6:00pm/ab 18:00 Uhr Reception - Cocktail Hour, Empfang/Umtrunk, PARTY, FEIER! at Königlicher Hirschgarten (come earlier to stroll through the wonderful Hirschgarten Park / vorher könnt ihr durch den Park laufen)
Sunday October 21
Bavarian "Weißwurst" & Brez'n Brunch /Bayerisches Frühstück
- Two weißwurst (white sausage), a German pretzel and beer for everyone /Zwei Weißwürste, eine Brezel und ein Bier für jeden.
Time: starting 10:30am /ab 10:30 Uhr
Place: Weisses Brauhaus , Tal 7, +49 (0)89 290138-0 (near Marienplatz - see link to map1, map 2)
